Question
A man is walking down a country road comes to a T junction one direction leads to happiness (his desired direction) the other direction leads to sadness he has no idea which direction to take. While trying to decide which road to take he notices a set of twin sisters standing at the road side he has met them before and knows that one sister will tell the truth no matter what you ask her and the other sister will tell a lie no matter what you ask her but he has no idea which one lies and which one tells the truth. He has one question he can ask one sister to find his desired road what is that question?

He would say to either sister which way would your sister advise me to go for the road to happiness and he would go the opposite way.
If he asks the sister that tells the truth she would quite rightly tell him the wrong way to go because that’s where her sister would advise him to go as she lies.
If he were to ask the sister that tell lies she would also tell him the wrong way to go as her sister would advise the correct road but she would lie about it.
